I was born in Portsmouth Virginia. My father was in the Navy and we moved to Lemoore NAS when I was two years old. I was very lucky that we did not move around often as most Navy families do. My husband Jeff and myself, both attended Lemoore High School. We married very young and moved to Three Rocks California where Jeff farms with his two brothers and father. When my oldest son was ready to enter into high school we decided to move to Coalinga, instead of returning to Lemoore. We had always been attracted to the beautiful hills, warm weather, and lack of fog and small town atmosphere of Coalinga. It turned out to be a great decision, as we love this little town. Both of my sons graduated from Coalinga High School. My oldest son Jason married Katie Ross. They live here in Coalinga and have two beautiful children, Makenna and Deegan. Jason is a Correctional Officer at Pleasant Valley Prison and Katie is a beautician at Omni Salon. My youngest son, Kevin lives in Fresno and is a full time student at FSU. He is majoring in Ag. Business.
I have worn many different hats during my life. I have worked as an accounts payable clerk for the last ten years at a farm in Huron. I once worked as a data entry clerk at an onion shed, a weigh master for tomato processing, a volleyball coach, P.E. Teacher and 4-H Leader while my sons attended school in Firebaugh California and an Aerobics Instructor. I also was a writer for the California High School Rodeo newspaper for District 6 when my oldest son was involved in high school rodeo.
I am a very social and outgoing person. I have always wanted to become more involved in this community and to meet people, but haven’t really had the opportunity with my previous work schedule. I am very anxious and excited to serve this community and it’s people. I feel a great sense of accomplishment when I am able to help someone and starting a career in Real Estate will allow me to help people fulfill the American dream of owning a home.
